St.
Catherine of Siena Women’s Guild grew from the original Altar Society, when
several women of the Parish expressed the need for a larger, more social and
service-oriented group that would be open to all women of the Parish. This request coincided with the
construction of the new church. The
Altar Society was later reorganized to care for the church altar and linens,
and remains a separate group from
the Women’s Guild. |
